Hi. we operate 2 boats out of The Marina, Bangor County Down. Ireland
A few of the boats our family have operated are names like; �Shamrock�, �Queen Elizabeth�, �Bangor Crest�, �Evelyn�, �Purple Heather 1st�, �Ulster Queen�, �Teelin Bay�, �Alice 12th�, �Down Crest� �Blue Aquarius� and the �Rachlyn�
The most famous local boat, the �WHITE HEATHER � - well known to generations,, we sold back in May 1999.
If you are a Bangorian or visiting the town, you may wish to join one of the boat trips, some time during the summer season.

'Tom Campbell, the plucky and popular Bangor boatman, has entered upon a fresh enterprise. He has purchased the steam yacht 'Pearl', a trim little craft fitted with the latest improvements, and capable of accommodating 20 passengers. It is Tom's intention to convey pleasure parties from Bangor to the Copeland Islands, Helen's Bay and other popular resorts. The 'Pearl' makes her trial trip tomorrow at 1130.' -
The steam engine made it possible to take a party of passengers onto the water, but we are sure before this date, many ventured out using wind and sail. A lot has changed since the first known !Short Sea Cruise� .
This summer �Blue Aquarius� will take the next generation to the high seas.
None of the magic has ebbed away from the kids faces, �as the ropes are cast off and the engine bursts into life�.
